The idea started as a simple one: Since the Mt Hood Cycling Classic race had the roads for the day, why limit the good time and challenge to the racers only? Tour de Hood, or the TDH as some call it, covers two of the same courses that challenge elite racers in the popular Mt Hood Cycling Classic stage race, while benefiting local youth programs and the Mt Hood Cycling Classic organization. The Tour de Hood will challenge you with its mountain climbs and stunning scenery and make you smile with its good food and friendly staff and volunteers.
Plus, a Tour de Hood rider gets to be participant and spectator at the same time. No need to scrap your own ride to watch some of the fastest racers in North America. Be prepared for a challenging weekend of riding over thousands of feet of climbing, with unforgettable views and twisting descents. Our hard-working staff and volunteers ensure you have a fantastic time, fueling you up with rest stops in locations with local flavor. Come ride with us and prove you’re tough enough for de Hood!

“Overall this is one of the best cyclosportif rides I have done in the USA and or abroad, which I have done a few. The volunteers and staff were amazing and the rest stops were very good. Food variety was great. a nice touch was the clothing drop. You guys did a great job.”
