Course Cleanup, Wednesday, May 27
Posted by: | CommentsTour de Hood promoter Kendra Wenzel and Mt Hood Cycling Classic promoter Chad Sperry along with course set up director Shane Wilson hit the Wy’East course today with a vengence and cleaned up the course where the snow recently cleared. The roads look fabulous and the forest is amazing. It’s going to be a great ride on June 6 and 7! Check out the recent photos of the beautiful and historic Balch Hotel, which is hosting our first rest stop on Saturday, June 6. The owners are planning homemade scones and mini quiches for our morning stop!
Roads are almost clear!
Posted by: | CommentsRiders cycling on the course roads this weekend have confirmed that the course roads nearly go through and that nearly all roads are clear of snow! We expect the last mile of snow on Hwy 48 to clear by the last weekend of May. Otherwise, we’ll have it plowed.
