Registration FAQ:

Registration vs Packet Pickup, what’s the difference?

Packet pickup is for collecting ride numbers and the ride packet for all pre-registered riders. Registration is for all riders who have not yet registered.

May I register for just one day?

Yes, but you save money on both rides by registering for both days at the same time.

May I register in person anywhere?

Yes, check out the registration and packet pickup dates around the opening stages of the Mt Hood Cycling Classic. Come on out and register or pick up your packet at the same time as checking out the pros in action!

May I pick up my registration packet before Friday, June 4?

Yes, you may pick up your packet June 1 or 2 at the Mt Hood Classic venue. See the Packet Pickup page for details.  The only thing that might throw a wrench in that is if our socks and pint glasses aren’t yet ready. Check back before June 1 to confirm.  No packets will be mailed.

Do I need ID for packet pickup?

Although packet pickup doesn’t require an ID, you do need to sign the OBRA liability waiver in order to receive your number.  You can do then when you pick up your packet. If you are picking up for anyone else, you’ll need to bring their signed OBRA waiver.

Why do I need to sign an OBRA waiver when this isn’t a race?

This event is insured through OBRA. All participants need to sign the liability waiver.

May I pick up someone’s packet for them?

Yes, as long as you bring a signed OBRA waiver for them.

May riders under 18 ride unaccompanied?

Tour de Hood is a hilly, challenging ride. All riders under age 18 must be accompanied by a riding adult. This ride is not suggested for riders under age 15!

How are tandems registered?

Each rider on a tandem must purchase his or her own registration number.

Can I register by mail?

Yes. But it’s too late now. Come on down to an in-person registration location to join the ride! Please write legibly! You must enclose your payment at that time to receive the corresponding deadline entry! Download the PDF entry form here>>>>> Email tourdehood@orangecatevents.com if you have any troubles. (Note: Mail-in entries may take up to a week after receipt to show on the “Registered Athletes” link on SportsBaseOnline.com.)

Oops, my check bounced.

Sorry, but it’s as big a bummer for us as it is for you. We’ll need a new one with $15 tacked on for the bank fees and trouble.
