Near perfect weather expected for Saturday and Sunday!
By · CommentsSaturday: Clouds and sun will make for a perfect high of 72 degrees on Saturday. Expect temperatures in the 50s for the departure and finish at Mt Hood Meadows. You’ll be able to shed clothing along the ride for pickup at the finish. However, I’d suggest you carry a light jacket just in case!
Sunday: Mostly sunny with 75 – 80 degree temperatures are expected for Sunday. Though Hood River does threaten some showers on Sunday, the forcast for The Dalles portion of the ride boasts sunny and 80 degrees! Be sure to prepare for both!
Onsite Registration is still available, June 5, 5-9 pm at the Hood River Inn. See the registration page for details. Packet pickup times are also listed on the registration page.

Course Cleanup, Wednesday, May 27
By · CommentsTour de Hood promoter Kendra Wenzel and Mt Hood Cycling Classic promoter Chad Sperry along with course set up director Shane Wilson hit the Wy’East course today with a vengence and cleaned up the course where the snow recently cleared. The roads look fabulous and the forest is amazing. It’s going to be a great ride on June 6 and 7! Check out the recent photos of the beautiful and historic Balch Hotel, which is hosting our first rest stop on Saturday, June 6. The owners are planning homemade scones and mini quiches for our morning stop!
Roads are almost clear!
By · CommentsRiders cycling on the course roads this weekend have confirmed that the course roads nearly go through and that nearly all roads are clear of snow! We expect the last mile of snow on Hwy 48 to clear by the last weekend of May. Otherwise, we’ll have it plowed.
